GORDON BELL
Gordon began pipe band drumming at the age of eight under the tutelage of Norman Macleod and the Kenmure Pipe Band.
He received further tuition from Dave Armit, Bob Turner, and Alec Duthart. He has had, and continues to have a very successful competitive record in both solo’s and bands. His band experience includes the Kenmure Pipe Band, Worcester Kiltie, Muirhead and Sons, 78th Fraser Highlanders, and City of Washington Pipe Bands.
Gordon is currently a member of the City of Washington Pipe Band. He is a senior drum instructor at the Balmoral School of Piping and Drumming.
His students are among the best in the country in their respective grades. Gordon has also recorded with many groups including the 78th Fraser Highlanders, Empire Brass, and his own Celtic Rock band 51 Ash.

ANDREW TICE
Andrew started piping at the age of 12 with the Shamrock and Thistle Pipes and Drums out of Toms River New Jersey. He had a few different instructors over the first few years of piping, but thanks George Bell and Alasdair Gillies the most for his piping success. He has played with Jersey Shore Celtic, Kenmure Pipe Band, and the Grade 1 City of Washington Pipe Band.
Andrew won the MSR at the first Balmoral Classic, and Overall at the 2008 U.S. Piping Foundation Championships and finished second overall in the EUSPBA 2008 season standings for grade 1.
